6 m3/s (12,000 CFM), Mobile, Electric, Skid Dust Collector
Overview
The 6-XP is a complete dust collection system, featuring a
single air intake, filter house, clean air box, silencer, exhaust,
centrifugal fan and dust discharge system mounted on a drag
skid base. The centrifugal exhaust fan creates 12,000CFM
(6m³/s) at 10iwg (-2.5kPa).
Electric Power
The 6-XP is powered by 380-480V and features a 50hp
Variable Speed Drive (VSD).
The VSD ensures the dust collector provides the required
air flow while using the least amount of power. If there is
insufficient air flow, the dust collector will turn up the VSD
to generate more air volume. Equally, the air flow meter will
turn down the VSD to use less kW for the same amount of air
volume .This makes the Cross Passage units power efficient,
with many projects reporting a 40% reduction in power
consumption.
Mobility
The 6-XP (12,000CFM, Mobile, Electric, Skid) mounted on
compact, skid base. Dust collectors mounted on a skid base
offer a cost-effective option when dust collection needs are
relatively static.
The unit can be dragged into position using the four rigging
mounts at each end of the machine or moved using the four
lifting lugs. When units need to be repositioned there is
limited downtime in construction works as the complete unit
can be moved easily.
Optional Upgrade: Compressed rigid castor wheels can be
fitted to allow units to slide easily into position or mounted on
utility platforms.
