Breedon Quarry Project Grydale Case Study

Breedon Quarry Project

Combining the Grydale dust collection unit with the Rock Hawg has proven to be a great success and solved the issue of dust contamination to the surrounding environment. The heavy dust particles that are discharged to the Quarry floor are also beneficial to the final aggregate product excavated.

Sydney Metro Central Station Project Grydale Case Study

Sydney Metro - Central Station

A Grydale JMS-50-MES (mobile, electric, skid) dust collector was selected as the best solution to provide the ventilation and dust control requirements for excavation works. The JMS-50-MES was mounted on the surface at the main access shaft, with ducting running down the shaft with a 90-degree bend, then lengthening out to run along the drive to provide dust extraction during excavation.

City Rail Link Project Grydale Case Study

City Rail Link Project

Ventilation and dust control are needed to keep workers’ exposure to fumes and dust at safe, acceptable levels. Grydale provided ventilation design consultancy to develop an extract ventilation system for the excavation of K-Road Station.

Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project Grydale Case Study

Melbourne Metro

Initial engineering consultation converted the ventilation design from an Overlap or Cross-Over Extraction methodology to the now in-situ, proven Extract methodology. This system removes all contaminants from the tunnel at the face and supplies fresh clean air for Civil, Mechanical and Engineering Works.
